The Seal

According to Romans 8:15 [1] someone had received the Spirit of adoption, called the first fruits of the Spirit in verse 23 [2]. They did not get that at Passover which is Calvary. They got that at Pentecost, the upper room. But by the same token they did not get their soul washed in the blood of Christ at Pentecost. They got their soul washed in the blood (Rev. 1:5 [3]) at Passover, Calvary.

According to Amos 9:12 [4] and Acts 15:14 [5] God wants a people that are called by His name. It's a family name Eph. 3:15 [6]. They did not get that name at Passover or Pentecost. They got that name in the tomb of burial by baptism in the name of the Lord Acts 10:48 [7].

It takes all three to qualify one for a glorified body in the resurrection. IThess. 5:23 [8] spirit, soul, body. Holy Ghost for the spirit, blood for the soul, water for the body.
Those having the blood only will have to take their place in the nations that are saved Rev. 21:24 [9]. They will have a body like the first Adam living in the garden. They will need the fruit and the leaves of the tree in Rev. 22:2 [10].

Those that have the seal which is two-part of the name (Rev.14:1) [11] and the Spirit Eph.1:13-14 [12] will have glorified body like the second Adam IJohn 3:2 [13].

Romans 4:11 [14] circumcision is a sign i.e. a seal. Romans 8:15,23 [15] Spirit (not blood) is seal i.e. earnest. IICor 1:22 [16] Spirit is earnest. Gal. 4:5 [17] God sent Christ his Son to redeem (which is already done) that we might receive the adoption (what we are waiting for). Eph. 1:14 [18] the Holy Spirit of promise is the earnest i.e. firstfruits until the redemption of purchased (past tense) possession. Eph. 4:30 [19] Holy Spirit is seal. Rev. 7:2, 9:4, 14:1 [20] God the Father's name is a seal.
