Someone said Adam was the progenitor of natural men, but Christ is the progenitor of spiritual men.
What means did Christ use to generate spiritual men? The Cross? shedding of His blood? I don't think so. The shedding of His blood on the cross at Passover was the means He used to ransom natural men from a lost state to a found state. That did not make them spiritual men; only natural men redeemed.
What made them spiritual men? Word, water, Spirit! When they accepted Christ's Word, they received new life. Not natural life, but spirit life. That Word is the seed that begets new spirit life. That is done by the Father i.e. God. It is His bride that brings forth (births) that new spirit life by means of water which is baptism in Jesus Name. Then that new baby lets out his first cry by speaking in tongues as the Spirit of the Lord gives the utterance which is the baptism of the Holy Ghost. When this happens, they are not just redeemed men; they are spiritual men. They have gone from being natural to being spiritual!
Want to be spiritual? First, get your sins covered by being washed in His blood, Rev. 1:5 [1] and then you can be born into His kingdom by means of Word, water, Spirit and you will be a spiritual man. John 3:5 [2], IPeter 1:23 [3] James 1:18 [4]. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift. 2Cor. 9:15.
